Austin Film Festival names Andy Siara as Ghost Ranch guest speaker

The Austin Film Festival in Austin, Texas, announced that this year’s guest speaker for Ghost Ranch Writers Retreat will be AFF Script Competition alum Andy Siara.

Siara has been part of the AFF community since he was a finalist in 2014. Since then, he has joined AFF as a panelist to discuss his experiences writing across film and television.

His credits include Palm Springs, which earned him a WGA Award nomination and won an Independent Spirit Award, and the television series The Resort and Angelyne.

AFF said it is thrilled to welcome him back to the desert this summer to discuss how a destination can inspire creativity, finding a person’s own unique voice, and evolving an idea as you write.
