Students Pack Emergency Supplies at Preparedness Rally

Students from grades two to five at Rancho Mirage Elementary participated in an Emergency Preparedness Rally organized by the Palm Springs Unified School District. During the event, students learned about disaster preparedness and packed bags with emergency supplies provided by the Rancho Mirage Emergency Preparedness Commission.

Superintendent Dr. Tony Signoret attended the rally to engage with the students and express gratitude to the commissioners for their donation of supplies and training. The prepared bags, which include water, snacks, activities, and protective apparel, will be stored on campus for student access in the event of an emergency.

The event underscores the collaboration between the school district and the City of Rancho Mirage in supporting student preparedness initiatives.
